Vena Resources is a Canadian mining exploration company dedicated to exploring and developing mineral properties in Peru. The Company has become involved in a number of prospective properties, and is currently aggressively exploring several properties. Vena Resources takes a long-term and responsible approach to finding, mining and processing minerals. To accomplish this, Vena is implementing a strategy of focusing on high quality, and cost effective mining operations that will generate profits for our shareholders.
Vena Resources is divided into four distinct business units – Precious Metals Division, Mining Division, Base Metals Division, and Clean Energy Division and exploration is currently underway in Vena's northern Peru properties where anthracite is known to be available, with the goal of identifying a NI 43-101 compliant "clean coal" resource and to purchase an anthracite washing plant to produce clean coil products.
Vena signed a binding agreement with Cameco Corporation to create a jointly owned company to explore and develop Vena’s uranium assets in Peru, in which Vena remains the operator.
